SalvaPlus Foundation is an organization (registered in 2008) that seeks to promote and support the rights of the socially excluded especially children. We also conduct research to ascertain the total health needs of community members. We are a local non-governmental organization that leads and collaborates with state agencies and other community based organizations for the health and well-being of community members. We operate three models of community support in Child Health, and Research for Community Health. We do this through community advocacy, training, awareness creation, social research and assistance to the socially deprived and excluded.
Our First Intervention
We Give sick children from poor families the opportunity to receive free medical care in Canada and return them to their home country after treatment
Children identified with surgical needs are connected to doctors and hospitals locally or abroad who are willing to operate on them without charge. We do this locally in partnership with Kabsad Scientific Hospital in Tamale and other volunteer doctors in Accra. Internationally, we partner with Children Medical Missions West, based in Ohio, United States of America.
Our Second Intervention
Help with infrastructures for three basic schools, namely Sabonjida JHS in the Nanumba North District, Matilapo Primary School and Yong Duuni in Tamale, as well as other projects that will help children after their health care.
Other projects in Poultry, animal farm, recreational/educational center etc is to be undertaken on a land secured at Gomoa Oguaa in the central region that will also help children learn and develop their skills.
